“If I Don’t See You” is an intimate look at what’s happening in the world by the way it affects just one person. There’s no host—each episode is built by artfully stitching together audio diaries. This first batch, our pilot series, traces the Covid-19 pandemic, Black Lives Matter protests, and other current events.A nurse taking care of covid-positive patients sends her kids to live with family; a funeral director in Baltimore struggles to find protective equipment for himself and care for his community; a high school senior finishes school remotely and prepares to go off to college. “If I Don’t See You” opens closed doors, inviting you to care about strangers during this strange and socially distant time.
